Visa and Requirement

All Non-EU nationals can apply for Tier-5 (Government Authorised Exchange) with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) issued by BUNAC. Below are the requirements for the CoS and Visa:
-Be 18 years of age or over.
-Be currently registered as a full-time student on an undergraduate or graduate course or have graduated within the last 12 months.
-Achieve IELTS test scores of a 6.0 or above.
-Be able to support yourself financially for the internship duration (£1270 for a 90 day period)
-The total cost of the visa, CoS (£729) and the visa (£298) are not included in the program fee. Applicants might be required to present the Tuberculosis (TB) test results for visa application.
Nationals from Hong Kong*, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Monaco, Japan, Taiwan*, Republic of Korea, and overseas British territories (BNO) can also apply for Tier-5 (Youth Mobility Scheme).
Below are the requirements for the Visa:
-Be 18 years of age or over.
-Be able to support yourself financially for the duration of your internship (£2,530 for a 90 day period).
-Pay the healthcare surcharge £940 to the UK Gov as part of the visa application.
-The cost of the visa is around £298 and is not included in the program fee. Applicants may be required to present the Tuberculosis (TB) test results for visa application.
*Remarks: The application for Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for HKSAR Passport holder will open in Spring every year. 800 ballot places will be available in January 2024.
Email: HongKongYMS@homeoffice.gov.uk between 00:01 (one minute past midnight) on Wednesday 31 January 2024 and 00:01 on Friday 2 February 2024 (Hong Kong time) to enter the ballot.
For most EU and BN (British National) nationals, visa is not required for the internship in London.

Our
Accommodation
A basic hostel in Zone 1 will be arranged. Participants will stay in a shared-room with another student of same sex.
There are wardrobe, drawers and a shared sink with shaving/vanity unit in the room.

Our
Social Events
On the first weekend, students will have a welcome meal and walking Tour around Central London.
In the middle of the internship, students may join weekend events such as City Tour, Bowling, Karaoke Night, Opera Night and so on to experience the British Culture.
In the last week of internship, students will enjoy good cuisines as farewell dinner.
